Went for a late dinner just before they closed. They had live music but were on last song. Had chicken salad on a salad haha was super fresh produce and tasted great. Bar looks really cool friendly atmosphere
This is a great little bar in Concan, Texas. Enjoyed great craft beer and good eats. Specifically the pizza, it was very well done. Atmosphere is very relaxing. A great place to come with friends and have a good time. Good people!
We don't go to the Frio River for the food choices but Hippie Chic's is a great spot if you're not cooking at your VRBO or campsite over at Garner. Great vibe, good music, tasty pizza and friendly folks make Hippie Chic's the best go-to in the evening after a day in the river.
The food was excellent! We had brisket nachos and the BLT. It's such a cute little spot in Concan! We will return.
Oh the atmosphere alone warrants 5 star ratings! We went on a Saturday night for live music, friendly service, cold drinks, and warm pizza. We had 5 kids with us and it was very kid friendly - no playground or anything unnecessary but it was outside and plenty of room for them to mosey around. We had the elote appetizer, two pizzas, and some margaritas. All was delicious!
I stopped by last night after a hard day at work. The pizza was great,the drinks were ok, little steep prices, but that is to be expected, being in a tourist area. They had a 3 piece band playing, and they were great. They not only played good music, they joked with each other, interacted with the crowd, got us up dancing (which we hadn't done in years) had a semi-song along with some of the songs, took requests. Overall a great experience, the only negative the band only played until 8, would be nice for them to play until the later evening.
Great find for adults to relax witha drink and food after a swim in the Frio. Trendy, hip decor, good drinks and spacious. Looks like a band can perform but there wasn't one at the time.
